For the past two James Bond flicks, Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008), Jeffrey Wrighthas played government agent Felix Leiter opposite Mr. Bond Daniel Craig.
Yet ComingSoon.net reports the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor may not return to the next film. Wright tells the website at the Toronto International Film Festival he hasn’t received a call to return to work on the film.
Although the new Bond film is set for November 2012, there have no been other updates and anything can happen between now and then.
In the meantime, Wright will star in the upcoming October film The Ides of March with George Clooney.
