Gucci Mane Pleads To Battery, Sent Back To Jail For 6 Months

US rapper Radric Davis better known by his alias Gucci Mane will be spending the next six months in Jail in Georgia after he admitted on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 to pushing a woman out of his car earlier this year.
Gucci pleaded guilty to two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct. This was disclosed by spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Solicitor-General’s Office, Emily Gest.
According to the police, on Friday, January 28, 2011, 31-year-old Gucci picked up a 36-year-old woman at South DeKalb Mall in suburban Atlanta ‘invited her out for breakfast and then tried to offer her 150 Dollars to stop by a hotel with him’. When the woman refused to go with him, he pushed her out of his white hummer while it was in motion. The woman was rushed to the hospital where she was treated.
The rapper has also been ordered to attend 12weeks of anger management classes and pay the victim $5,090 for her medical bills and a $3,000 fine.
I am pleased that justice was achieved for the victim because this defendant’s behaviour showed a wilful disregard for a woman’s personal safety’, DeKalb Solicitor-General Sherry Boston said in a statement.
Gucci mane in 2001 was arrested for cocaine possession and was sent to jail for 90 days. In 2005, he was sentenced to jail for six month for assault and earlier this year he was slammed behind bars for violating probation.
