Chris Tucker may be making a long-awaited comeback with two new films this year.
The funnyman took a hiatus after Rush Hour 3 in 2007, but now, according to Variety, he’s in talks to join David O. Russell’s The Silver Linings Playbook and being considered for a key role in the 20th Century Fox's comedy Neighborhood Watch.
The Silver Linings Playbook stars Bradley Cooper as a former high school history teacher who moves in with his mother after he checks out of a mental institution. Tucker will play Cooper's friend who lives in a mental hospital.
In Neighborhood Watch, a group of suburban neighbors use their neighborhood watch meetings to escape their families. Tucker would play a recently divorced suburbanite. Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill also star.
