Roman Polanski Accuser Charlotte Lewis

Charlotte Lewis's Charges

Charlotte Lewis' lawyer gave a press conference on May 14, 2010 in which she accused director Roman Polanski of sleeping with her when she was 16 years old in the early 1980s and working on his movie "Pirates" in Paris, France.
The age of consent in France is 15.
Lewis' attorney, Gloria Allred, said Polanski's behavior with her client should have an impact on his sentencing for raping a teenage girl in the 1970s.
