Project Fame Winner Mike Anyasodo Makes His Debut.

Mike Anyasodo
It is no longer news that 26-year-old Mike Anyasodo beat five finalists to win Project Fame (Season 2) in September 2009; it may also interest you to know that the talented singer is stepping into mainstream with 3 smashing singles. The songs “Adamma”, “Wankoloma” and “Fine Fine Lady” featuring Illbliss (produced by Cobhams Asuquo) epitomize brilliance and top-notch talent. Hence, it will not be vain to say Mike is the next big thing to happen to the local music scene. Delivering in English and pidgin, his fluid flow and lyrical exuberance makes him stand out.
Mike, full names Michael Okechukwu Anyasodo is from Imo State but was born in Warri, Delta State. He lost his dad at the tender age of six and relocated to Aba, Abia state where he had his primary and secondary education. He later moved to Port Harcourt and subsequently Asaba after he gained admission into Ambrose Alli University where he is still studying Computer Science.

He kicked off as a backup vocalist and songwriter and later went into music production for a few up and coming artistes. While hustling for his daily bread he heard about MTN project fame, raised funds and made his way to Lagos for the audition.
According to Mike “I believe the saying – to whom much is given, much is expected, but I’ll let the fans listen and tell if I disappointed them or not”. The new songs will hit radio this week while his yet-to-be-titled debut album is expected to hit record stores before the year runs out.
