DMX FILES LAWSUIT FOR STOLEN ROYALTIES
According to New York’s Daily News, DMX has reportedly filed a lawsuit against a company called Rick Kid Entertainment on Monday for allegedly stealing over a million dollars in royalties. The suit reads: “DMX has sold over 30-million albums worldwide and has had number one singles and albums on the Billboard charts, which in turn have generated a great amount of revenue for the defendants, but has left [DMX] with nothing.” The rapper believes Rick Kid pocketed 100-percent of his earnings, instead of 10-percent they agreed to. Due to his recent string of run-ins with the law, he had no idea he’d been ripped off for the past decade.
