Kerry Washington Gets Ready For A “Scandal”

The actress preps for her big role in the new TV show. Earlier this year, TV heads were abuzz about ABC's new and soon-to-debut TV show "Scandal. "For one, it stars Kerry Washington , 34 , as a ruthless lawyer who has the power to make things go away. If that's not enough, it also stars Columbus Short , 28 , and was created by " Grey's Anatomy" super writer and two-time Emmy award nominee Shonda Rhimes , 41 .   While the show still has no real release date yet, it is scheduled for fall's midseason showings (which means soon) and has been receiving some renewed attention from Washington.  

Just yesterday, the actress tweeted , "I'm so inspired by this entire cast & crew on @scandalABC WHOA! So fun! So much love. So much commitment and effort and joy and creativity!"
