MIKEL BOASTS: LIVERPOOL DOWN, BAYERN TO GO!

Super Eagles midfielder,John Mikel Obi is already eyeing another cup win,this time the UEFA Champions League trophy.Chelsea come up against Bayern Munich in the finals of the money-spinning competition on May 19 and Mikel says he is looking forward to his first ever win in the competition..

The Nigerian told ESPN that Saturday's FA Cup victory over Liverpool has given him and the rest of the Blues the confidence that they can add the Champions League trophy come May 19 at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

''It's my fourth FA Cup win with Chelsea and for me it's all about the club trying to win trophies. Last season when we  didn't win any trophy we were all disappointed and today (Saturday) we put it right and hopefully we'd try to get another one on the 19th'',Mikel told the ESPN after the game at Wembley stadium last Saturday.

The Super Eagle is thrilled Chelsea have hit form at the right time,adding that the recent rsults they have achieved have showed that the team is hitting their peak just at the right time.

''Yes I think we have hit form at the right time but know some times things go wrong and some times people always write us off and we've always come back stronger which we showed today with the way we went about the business of winning the FA cup'',he further said and added his voice to the calss by Chelsea players that Roman Abramovich,the wealthy owner of the club should give the job of managing the club to interim coach,Roberto Di Matteo on a permanent basis.
