Now that Kelis' divorce from Nas is finalized, the singer sat down with Attitude magazine to talk about life without her former spouse. The mother of the rapper's child stated, "I'm not a big regret person." She added, "I've been divorced, and I can still say I don't regret it I'm a big believer that if a bad situation happens, it is a lesson that needs to be learned, just once." The couple filed for divorce in April on 2009. Kelis also said during the interview, "I'm a mother and I do what I love for a living, and I have enough money to do what I want but not so much that it's a stress. I think happiness is a momentary feeling but I'm very content. I feel really good."
