We recently reported that Lil Wayne is facing a copyright infringement lawsuit for his song "Mrs. Officer" featuring Bobby V. AllHipHop.com has learned producer Michael "Mali Boy" Bradford, who claims to have made the original beat for the track, has hired an associate professor of Musicology to prove his case. Dr. Felicia M. Miyakawa has found substantial evidence that could take this case to trial. Apparently, the original song was sampled and the producer that re-worked the instrumentals did not "source material adequately." It's unknown how much Bradford is seeking in damages.
