Nelly Furtado is taking sides with the Libyan people who want no parts of dictator Moammar Gadhafi — by giving up the money she was paid to perform for his family!

Nelly took to her Twitter yesterday to make the announcement:

Dang… $1 million for a 45 minute show? But we gotta agree Nelly is doing the right thing.

Now we all know Nelly was not the only jawn shaking her cakes for Gadhafi and his shady family. BeyBey was all up in the mix last year, droppin' it like it was hot for MILLIONS of dollars and Mariah Carey also raked in a million performing for the bash thrown at the dictator's 2009 bash.
