TIWA SAVAGE REPS AT GRAMMYS

"Collard greens and Corn bread" co written by the "Kele Kele' singer has been nominated for The Grammys this year. The song features on Fantasia's her third studio album Back to me album and has been nominated in the best R & B category.

Tiwa Savage co wrote the song with Nickolas Ashford ,Valeria Simpson, Warren Felder and Andrew Wansel.

Savage's family immigrated to England from Nigeria when she was 11 and she returned to Nigeria few years ago with the hit single 'Kele Kele Love'. Savage had done backup since the age of 17, when she sang for George Michael.

A few years ago, Tiwa Savage was working at the Royal Bank of Scotland, after graduating from the University of Kent with a degree in business administration but when she got the call to sing backup for Mary J. Blige—for a European tour that was beginning in just three days—Savage decided to chuck accounting and focus on her music full-time.

The Grammys will be held on Sunday, the 13th of February.
