It’s no secret that Keri Hilson has been dubbed Beyoncé’s number one hater, but in a recent interview with HipHollywood Hilson definitely puts the breaks on the all the rumors. Perhaps all the drama started back in 2008 when Miss Keri Baby wrote the lyrics on her release “Turnin’ Me On” which say, “She can sing, but need to move it ‘to the (left)’ / She need to go have some babies / She needs to sit down, she fadin’… / Go ‘head and tell them folks how long I been writing your songs / I been puttin you on, just check the credits ho.”
In the interview when asked about her supposed Beyoncé beef, Hilson insisted that no such beef existed with Bey or any other female artist.
"No, I don’t have a beef with any female artist. I think it’s just interesting that we live in such a gullible world. Anything that’s written, anything that is posted, and a picture that is interpreted one way, is truth. It’s like bible now. You can Photoshop something, put it out and everyone believes it," Hilson explains.
She goes on to express how hurtful all the gossip can be.
"I’m human and it is hurtful. It’s not okay to make up something about someone in their personal lives especially. Professionally, fine. Scrutinize me all you want, I know I can’t please everyone. But, personally let’s just leave it alone, it’s going too far," she added.
