10 Year-Old Seyi Ojo Anjolaoluwa Emerges as Nigeria’s Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional

It’s so wonderful to hear of young Nigerians achieving great feats and at BellaNaija, we are proud of Seyi Ojo Anjolaoluwa , a 10-year-old JSS 1 pupil of Valencia College, Ibadan, Oyo State who has emerged asNigeria’s Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional.

He is also one of the youngest people in the world to attain such feat.
Seyi who was born on 21st July 2002 participated in the MCIP test on 24th July 2012 scoring 869 out of possible 1,000. Due to his performance, he was adjudged by Microsoft as a Certified Professional in Microsoft Windows XP (Administration Management and Configuration, Exam 70 – 270).

Punch reports that he is not the only young Nigerian who has achieved such a feat. Though their performance was not as high as Seyi’s, some Nigerian children, which include Nwaiwo Favour of Royal Family Academy, Abuja; and Osaremen Davidson and Olanrewaju Shittu, both of Doregos Private Academy, Lagos are also in the good book of Microsoft Incorporation for their enviable performances in the certified examination.
Rather than pursue a career in information technology, Seyi told Punch that his aspiration is to become a medical doctor. His mission in life is to make his school and country proud.
Apart from him, five pupils of Valencia College, Ibadan sat for and passed the certification examination. They are Adeyinka Oreoluwa, Odunsi Nicholas, Ajao Blessing, Ololade Toluwanimi and Agbele Oluwaloniope.
