Personality of the Week: Kemi Lala Akindoju

The Future awards ACTOR OF THE YEAR 2010 ‘Lala’ Kemi Akindoju is a pretty cheeky boned diva who acts with Terrakulture’s Theatre troupe. She was awarded the ACTOR OF THE YEAR 2010, having been nominated alongside Omoni Oboli, Mercy Johnson, Gideon Okeke and Aliu Nuhu.

Aside from acting, Lala as she is fondly called by her friends and family is a great vocalist, a music director and a tongue-speaking, demon casting, devil binding woman of God. Yes! She is the resident pastor of the Redeem Christian Church of God, City of David’s campus fellowship, Sovereign Army, University of Lagos, undoubtedly the largest fellowship at the University where she studied Business Administration, bagging a second class upper degree.

Beauty, Brains, Balance is what I’d like to call this young lady who not only proved that you can not only be a Christian in an industry labeled with scandals and dysfunctional issues but you can also succeed and be the best at what you do as a disciple of Christ.

It’s just like yesterday when lala entered the entertainment industry acting alongside other stars like Funmi Iyanda in the premier edition of the v-monologues but like a caterpillar, she has blossomed into a beautiful butterfly.
