Our very own, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is ranked by Forbes as the 87th most powerful woman in the world. For those that are unfamiliar, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala at age 57 was the Managing Director of the World Bank before she left to become the Finance Minister in Nigeria.
She’s from Delta State, and is married with 4 children.
Her main achievement was to secure a debt write-off of $18 billion from Nigeria’s creditors.
