Stars of music, film, socialites & wannabes stormed the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel & Suites, Saturday night in their designer finest. Some looked hot & some made a statement for all the wrong reasons. From Rita Dominic to Tiwa Savage, check out who wore what to the 2011 Headies.
Before we proceed…1 word of advise to the ladies who insist on showing off their legs to these things…if your legs bear a history of scars, use some body foundation. It’s not just your faces that need the coverage. Jeez I’m so sick of seeing hideous legs in super short dresses…we don’t want to see your busted legs..ok rant over.
See photos after the jump…Brace Yourselves…it’s the Fashion Police!
Goldie is known for her dramatic costumes. And she certainly didn’t disappoint in this dress. Her hair and make up were flawless. Wrong choice of shoes though.
I like the minimalistic look on Tiwa Savage. We are so used to seeing her in super short dresses, it’s nice to see her in something covered that shows of all her curves.
Studio 53 Extra’s Dolapo Oni is pure perfection. The combination of her gold jacket with the emerald green playsuit…is so effortless, classy & suited to the event. I also love the pop of colour her purple shoes give. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Studio 53 Extra host Eku Edewor shows off her long legs in a nude mini number that shows off her model-esque frame. She however forgot to brush her hair.
I do believe OAP Toolz has this dress in every colour. I appreciate that she knows what works for her body, but I wish she would try something different. Her hair is on point though! And I love the shoes and purse.
Oreka Godis Beat FM OAP…Now this one girl who never keeps it boring on the red carpet. She shows off her legs in this Obisidian creation. I love it…and she certainly wears it well.
I like Funke Akindele…I like this dress on her.... but maybe if it was longer and fitted…
Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere is another girl who keeps things interesting on the red carpet. You never know what to expect from her. She keeps it classy in this blue number…Not a bad choice in my opinion.
Waje looks elegant in this asymmetric floor length number. Safe choice, but everyone can’t be Eva or Goldie.
Your eyes are not deceiving you…Denrele is wearing peep toe booties…yes women’s shoes. But hey…It’s Denrele. I like the yellow on him, it suits him.
Muna was also there wearing an orange asymmetric number, which showed flesh in all the right places. Good choice, and her shoes are cute. Her hair and makeup no make am sha…
