According to The Associated Press, Ja Rule is expected to begin his two year prison sentence on June 8th. However, this will not stop the rapper from completing his forthcoming album, The Renaissance Project, before he heads in. In fact, the rapper has announced on Twitter that the project will be released one day before he begins serving time. It's currently unknown which producers and features he has lined up.
