The designer behind Nigerian Design label, Nancy Nwadire, has been honoured with an award for Best brand at the Mediterranean Design and Fashion Week in Noto (Sicily), Italy. The award followed an amazing fashion show where the label showcased its A/W13 collection.
award was presented by the Mayor of NOTO (UNESCO World Heritage) Corrado Bonfanti. Nancy commented on her win saying “I feel honored, humbled and grateful.
The organizers of the event and the people of Noto are really nice, they made us feel welcome and at home. I feel most especially honored to be recognized by the Italians, who in my eyes are the “gurus” of fashion. I am grateful and thankful to all who have been involved in the journey of the Iconic Invanity brand”
