Etcetera Turns Up the Heat

After months of anticipation, soft rocker Etcetera has finally concluded plans to release his second album titled Yes I am in the last quarter of 2010.  This time around, rather than laying down his trademark bedroom tunes, Etcetera has turned up the volume slightly and his new offering promises to be more woofer-friendly. At the same time however, Etcetera vows not to abandon the thought-provoking lyrics that have made him the singer he is today; Etcetera is the same man but a fine-tuned musician.
The 15 tracker will house the politically-inclined single Ring the Alarm which was released at the height of the crises in Jos. On the controversial single, Etcetera recapped how corruption had eaten deep into the Nigerian government, screaming ‘Ole!’ (thief) repeatedly on the track. Ring the Alarm has gone on to become a firm favorite amongst lovers of good music.
‘It’s been a long time coming, friends and fans have been asking when this album will drop, but I have been busy in the studios trying to cook up something new; something special. But I can assure you that this album is fresh’, Etcetera revealed in a press release.
Two videos, first for Ring the Alarm and then for his second single Post Card, are expected to hit TV screens before the album drops. The X3M music artiste further revealed that he recorded the Yes I Am LP with live instrumentals and that label mate Overdose will make an appearance on the album.
Pascal Ejikeme, popularly known as Etcetera, is a singer-song writer signed to X3M Music, a record label founded by Steve Babaeko. His self titled album Etcetera was released in May, 2008 from which singles like This Is Not A Song, Michelle and Biafra were released.
