Georgi Vodka Owner Strikes Back At Diddy For Ciroc Comments

Sean "Diddy" Combs performs at the 2009 GRAMMY Salute To
Industry Icons honoring Clive Davis at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on
February 7, 2009 in Beverly Hills, California. What you gonna do, Diddy? As previously reported, Georgi Vodka owner, Martin Silver wasn’t too happy with Diddy’s remarks in regards to Ciroc’s competition. During a party, Diddy yelled “If you’re not drinking Ciroc, you’re drinking Pee Pee.” In response to that, Silver decided to send Diddy a toilet full of Ciroc bottles to counter Diddy’s moronic comment. Silver said of the matter, “It is not right what he did.” Silver and an associate held a protest for Diddy and his Ciroc Vodka and headed over to Diddy’s Bad Boy establishment to present Mr. Combs with their gift, but were denied by Diddy’s bodyguards. Check out the footage, below!

Keyshia Cole Ordered to Pay 160k for Blowing Off Promoter

keyshia-cole-new-promo-pic3
No Mercy for Keyshia Cole. The singer appeared in New Jersey court yesterday (March 25) to face allegations that she pulled a no-show for a 2006 appearance despite being paid $15, 000 in advance.
In addition to ruling against Keyshia, the judge belittled the singer, referring to her testimony as “confused and at times nonsensical.”  The judge also remarked “that it appears at times that she was not literate” when Cole hesitated to read documents during her testimony. He later realized she wasn’t illiterate when she read documents to support her case. In the end, Keyshia was ordered to pay over $160, 000 in damages.

Prince Owes $3 Million to Show Promoters

According to TMZ, an Ireland judge has released court documents regarding Prince’s recent court battle with concert promoters for dropping out of a show two years ago.
In 2008, Prince was scheduled to perform in Dublin, but backed out at the last minute for unspecified reasons. Consequenty, Prince owes almost $3 million in damages to the shows promoters.
High Court Justice Peter Kelly, the judge that released the information, revealed that both parties reached a mutual agreement in February, but the singer has yet to fork over a penny.
Representatives for Prince have yet to comment on the matter.

Sandra Bullock Is Not in the Mood to Get Slimed

Sandra Bullock Smith / Symons / Pacific Coast News
Where in the world is Sandra Bullock? No one knows for sure. But we know where she won't be, and that's at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards tomorrow.
Reports had been circulating that the laid-back slimefest just might be the perfect forum for Bullock to mount her return to the public stage, a rumor further fueled by the fact that the can't-lose Oscar winner is also a nominee at Saturday's show.
But this time around the speculation proved to be unfounded, as a rep for Jesse James' much, much better half confirms to E! News that the actress will not only not be attending tomorrow's festivities, but that she never had any intention to RSVP.
And yes, she means even before Bombshellgate broke.
All of which means Bullockwatch will continue apace.
The much-staked-out actress has inspired more alleged sightings than Elvis in recent days, all while continuing to outfox paparazzi (Jesse, take some notes) and lay low.
And while the now-daily arrival to her Hollywood Hills home of assistants at least seems to point to a possible location, wherever the star is, she has so far successfully managed to stay out of the public eye. And more power to her for it.
As for tomorrow's show, Bullock may not be attending, but she could still end up a winner, vying against Miley Cyrus, Megan Fox and Zoe Saldana for the Best Actress prize.
So while we may not know where Sandra is, we don't exactly blame her for laying low.

Denrele Get Love Advances From Homosexuals ‘But They Just Friends.’

Denrele
(LR) the allegedly gay couple - Weird MC and Denrele
If Denrele keeps trying to make fashion statements with high heels, multicolour clothes met for ladies – he should expect that the tales of homosexuality won’t leave. The wacko TV personality addresses his sexuality again, making some revelations:
“I think the truth is that no matter how good you are, people will want to look for a loophole somewhere and penetrate you, but when they don’t find one, they will just say something. I am not bothered about the rumour at all, because if I am gay or homosexual, I will come and say it because I don’t lie, but what the allegation has done to my person is that it has put me in trouble with some people because they started to torment me. I am a kind of person that when they call me and say you are a gay, I don’t shout at them because I am one of the people that affect people positively. I don’t care who you are, your status, age, standing in the society or your sexual preference, I have a lot of gay friends and lesbians, but I don’t mind because it is part of life and life has to be lived. When they started to peddle the rumour, the first one I heard was that I went to a gay party and some people came to me, disturbing me. You know people just make fabrications. My family was not even bothered because they know me very well. What I will say is that when I am getting married, I will invite all of you to come and be part the of occasion.”
And is he in a relationship? He responds: “Right now, I am in an on and off relationship with someone. The girl is troublesome and she will nearly kill me if she reads this. The reason I am not into any serious relationship is because of the nature of my job. I don’t have enough time and a lady that will date me has to be very understanding and realise that my job comes first, while my family comes second and any other person later. But if a lady is looking for that concrete attention and commitment, then I am the least candidate she should consider. However, I am trying to deal with it because now, I am one leg in and one leg out.”

Reintroducing Blackface the Drug Addict That ‘Discovered Tuface’

Blackface

Blackface
Blackface would never relent on telling you he discovered Tuface. He claimed he wrote Tuface solo break out – African Queen and Tuface was forced to acknowledge it.  He is still saying he discovered Tuface [turn a blid eye to the fact that his rise or otherwise in nothing close to Tufaces]
I am the CEO of Loudhouz Entertainment. I have discovered a lot of talents because it is not for me to tell you that I discovered this or that. And if I tell you that I discovered Tuface Idibia, you will say it’s a joke. Most of the songs that he rendered were songs that I created and most of the songs that he delivered are songs that I have decided that this was the way it got to go for this artiste.
So, it’s just about me being the CEO and to know who’s good and who’s not but in between I still got myself as Blackface Naija. However
and check this: Tuface is my friend and brother. Sometimes you are closer to your friend more than your brother. Sometimes you are closer to your neighbour than your brother because your brother is not there but your neighbour is there, and he’s always asking you how you are doing.
You can be close to your neighbour because he is talking to you more and you are both relating more. So being my friend, being my brother has got nothing to do with it. For me Tuface is a friend, he is my buddy and we’re just moving forward .”
And on why the reunion failed, Black face was largely responsible:So, I feel its time to do my thing. It is not that I do not have love for my brothers like Tuface and Faze but they are doing their own thing. They are the ones that have the big videos but it’s time for me to do my own thing. It’s time for me to kick start my career once again.”
He is a drug addict and he has justification: “Weed, marijuana, ganja, can you ask yourself a question? The most prominent people in the society do they smoke weed? If somebody as great as Malcolm X could make a change in the world so why do you think he shouldn’t. Asking me about marijuana is like asking why a footballer uses boot, because it is to prevent him from getting a bad foot. Both of us are under a building which can collapse now. Let’s just live and give praise to the Most High and stop asking ourselves questions like why are we watching TV. You drive in a car, there is hazard, you send your children to school, there is hazard, you go to your office, there’s hazard. We all live with the hazards of life.”

Dealing With The Pressures Of Stardom By Funke ‘Jenifa’ Akindele. By Funke Akindele

Funke Akindele is a star actress and mastermind of the ‘Jenifa’ phenomenom.
Funke Akindele
Funke Akindele
I am FOREVER grateful to God for the grace and privilege to emerge as one of the celebrated entertainers in Nigeria. What I didn’t expect was the pressure and heartbreaks that often go hand in hand with so many blessings!
Since the mega success of ‘Jenifa’ Movie brought me into the international limelight and opened some great doors for me, I have come to understand what mega stars have to deal with. The bad rumours, the misunderstandings, the second-guessing and the constant, and sometimes unrealistic, expectations from people sometimes just make me burst into tears. There are times I dread reading some rag magazines/newspapers because I don’t know what new lies or rumours they are going to start about me. Yet, my managers insist that there is no need to challenge the bad press or take anyone to court. According to them, all this come with the territory since the press are also very instrumental in bringing me to stardom, it is not wise to fight them unless I really really have to.
As mentioned, one of the most painful by-products of my stardom is that I have become fair target for many reporters, some of them very responsible, and some not so responsible, in their coverage of my life and career. I have read some unfair stuff about me in the newspapers that want to make me throw up with anger/disgust while I have also read some coverages that made me smile and laugh. So, over time, I have learnt to take the good with the bad and just hope that somehow the more vicious reporters will get to be more merciful as time progresses, while I continue to appreciate and pray for the ones who report good things about me.
I have experienced some serious sadness and discomfort in many areas as a star, while I have also had some pure joy and meaningful relationships and cooperation from places that I never thought I would be able to influence. For instance I have enjoyed enormous support from some First Ladies like the first Lady of Lagos who have who have been gracious enough to allow me to contribute to their charitable causes and programs. The joy of contributing to my community makes all the other unpleasant aspects of stardom worth it! I loved working on the AIDS and the Homeless Projects with the government and hope for more opportunities to be relevant in my generation.
All in all, I have come to appreciate the goodness of God in my life, take the good with the bad and just enjoy it all. Regardless of the negative sides of it all, it is always much better and more fulfilling to be an international star making a positive change in society than a struggling actress!

Ebube and Her Beau
Ebube
Ebube
Actress Ebubu Nwagbo is in another very serious relationship. While Actress Ebube Nwagbo dated Kingsley of the KC Presh, she was approached by a Houston US based businessman and she blatantly refused his proposal but she bulged and gave him her phone number when he insisted. They merely agreed to be friends and barely got in touch.
She then broke up with Kingsley in august 2009. Kinglsey was said to have dumped Ebube because ‘she wasn’t the kind of wife material I wanted’ in his own words but they kept the news secret while Ebube doubled on her efforts for a new man. With luck on her side, the London based lover called and she informed of her break up and they began nursing an affair.
Afterwards and in a short time, they had come become an item, Eube threw all her guards down and jumped into her affair with him. She took a trip to the US in February, note she broke up with Kingsley later 2009 [she got over him very quick right?] to meet her very new lover in bid to save face from the press over the report of Kingsley getting married to another woman. Ebube has dated a bunch of celebrities and having to end or being dumped in heartbreak.
Ebube was seen in February shopping for a car with her new beau where he bought her a hummer jeep, talk about she hitting the money bag. We hope he ends up as her husband and she doesn’t have to return the hummer jeep after he breaks up with her.

Message of the Week: A Call to Prayer

Nike Adeyemi
It's in the news, it's happening around us. The sound of wars and rumours of war. Earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, raging fires, bomb explosions, ethnic cleansing, killings, massacres... Our world is in peril. Seems like the end of the world is upon us, but according to the bible, the end is not yet. MARK 13:7.

It is time now for Christians to rise up and stand in the gap for humanity. God has placed us here to influence our world positively, to give hope to the hopeless and set the captives free. Let's not sit back until we are utterly destroyed; no time to fold our hands in dread, discouragement and defeat. We must offer prayers to God for mercy. We should show compassion and give comfort to those who have experienced devastation. Give generously of yourself and your substance. As Lagosian Christians, let us secure our city with prayers, fortify our borders with the blood of Jesus Christ. We will no longer live in fear of rumours of enemies with a mandate to wreak havoc on our city Lagos. Not on our watch!! Remember, we are the salt of the earth, we must make a difference.

Let us pray:

“Almighty God, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient, the Merciful. At this time more than ever, we come to you with our frailties. Show unto mankind Your mercy. Stay the hand of the destroyer and continually protect and prosper your people for Your name's sake You are faithful, heal the brokenhearted and restore the wounded. Instill in us your love so that we can all co-habit peacefully and the world will be a better place to live in. We thank You Lord, for in Jesus' name we've prayed, Amen”.

Sasha On Blast: The Worst Was I Was Dating Naeto C.

Sasha On Blast: The Worst Was I Was Dating Naeto C.
Sasha
Sasha
First Lady had some interesting things to say in an interview, She still says she didn’t date Naeto C and she’s single. Would the men come already?  Read excerpt:
Do male rappers pose any threat?
I don’t like the ‘female rapper’ tag because a rapper is a rapper. While I was with Trybe Records, I never met Blaise until we did the “Oya” video. The men don’t pose any threat, when I used to rap with my family friends I was the only girl in the group. I was always around men and it was good because it helped sharpen my skill. I was always in friendly competition.

What is the worst thing ever written about you?

Not worst but the one that I was dating Naeto C. It was taken to be the truth so when they say ‘Oh, you’re Naeto C’s girlfriend’ I am almost blushing because I am like no and they don’t believe me. It’s been on for so long and almost seemed true at some point. It did affect my relationship at some point. You know it’s hard for people who are not in the industry to decipher when something wrong is written about you, apart from your close friends. You can’t call everyone individually to explain. Celebrities are human beings so we get affected too. I may be very outspoken but I’m a very private person.
So is Sasha in a relationship?
No, I’m not and I don’t talk about my private life. Even if I am in one, I will not talk about it.
Which memorable moment readily comes to mind?
My Channel O award for last year. I’m not sure if I should say this but I had one shoe off. Those were brand new shoes and they hurt. All of a sudden, they called me as the winner. I was so used to getting nominated that I never expected to win. It came as a very big surprise and so they hit me like ‘you won’ so here I was hopping on one shoe and trying to go upstage to receive my award.

Suge Knight Wanted for Assault & Robbery

Suge Knight is a wanted man. According to TMZ.com, the former Death Row Records boss reportedly robbed and assaulted West Coast rapper Yukmouth in the San Fernando Valley, CA earlier this week (March 22).
Knight and about 10 members of his entourage allegedly approached Yukmouth at Ralph's supermarket and assaulted him for unspecified reasons at approximately 10 p.m. Authorities told TMZ that the rapper was also robbed of $92,000 worth of jewelry.
Knight and his crew are now wanted by the San Fernando Valley Police Department for questioning. It's also been reported that there's a prior misdemeanor warrant out for Suge's arrest. Representatives for Suge Knight have yet to comment on the incident.

Whitney Port: Why She's Being Sued for $90,000

Whitney Port isn't just the pretty face of her clothing line, Whitney Eve.
She designs it all, too.
At least that's what her lawyers are saying in response to a lawsuit filed by a former friend-turned-employee who claims she's responsible for almost all of the designs.
In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 19, Adrienne Baravetto says she worked for The City star and her father, Jeffrey Port, in 2008 when the line was called Eve & A.
"The actual designs were virtually all done by Baravetto, much of which was inspired by her own vintage clothing collection," the lawsuit says. "Baravetto presented design ideas to Whitney Port, [who] made minor, if any, modifications to Baravetto's work.
The suit alleges that Baravetto was booted from the company after Port and her dad "falsely" said Whitney was the sole designer and that Baravetto was "nothing more than a consultant."
Baravetto is seeking $90,000 in back pay along with punitive and statutory damages.
However, Port's lawyer, Michael A. Taitelman, called the suit "baseless and without merit."
"Baravetto worked for Whitney Eve for a short period of time ending in early 2008," Taitelman said in a statement. "For more than two years, she has been silent. For reasons that we will uncover she has decided to make these unsubstantiated allegations at this time."
Perhaps we could be seeing a courtroom battle on television. MTV announced earlier today that the new season of The City will premiere April 27.

Dial-a-Feud: Donny Osmond Slams Lady Gaga's "Telephone"

Donny Osmond, Lady Gaga Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images; Courtesy of Interscope / Lauren Dukoff
Lady Gaga's "Telephone" has pushed all of Donny Osmond's buttons.
The squeaky clean singer, an outspoken opponent of censorship in the recording industry in the past, has drawn a line when it comes to the boundary-pushing pop star's latest video, which features Gaga and Beyoncé getting involved in some nasty sexy business.
"I'm all for freedom of speech and against any form of censorship, but all I know is that I'm a parent and I'm upset about this," the father of five said in a statement Wednesday.
"This" being...
The Kill Bill-Grindhouse vibe? The butt cracks? The cigarette sunglasses? The rampant product placement?
"Unlike 20 years ago, in today's modern, viral world in which content becomes instantaneously available irrespective of age, I wonder whether the music industry might need to rethink its marketing policies with regard to making an explicit music video containing profanity, sexual exploitation, nudity, and graphic violence available to anyone with Internet access," Osmond, 52, continued.
"I wouldn't want my child to watch this video. Would you? What do you think? Should these two extremely gifted female role models for millions of young girls, maybe, have given a little more thought to the effect it might have on their core audience?"
Well, yes, Donny, that's why "parental discretion is advised."
Lady Gaga, meanwhile, thinks her fans are getting the message just fine, tweeting yesterday from on tour in Australia:
"What mayhem in Melbourne tonight. Some kids just understand what it means live your eyeliner, breathe your lipstick, and kill for eachother."

Wasiu ‘KWAM 1′ Ayinde For Federal House Of Reps As Fashola and Tinubu End Feud
Kwam 1
Kwam 1

Ex Governor and Political god father Bola Tinubu is said to have forgiven Fashola and the well reported feud has come to an end. Tinubu is said to have forgiven Fashola and endorsed his second term ticket because it would benefit him and the party AC that they belong as well as to prevent any bad blood that might cost AC her grip on Lagos. With the feud ended, They are working at ensuring those who make it to the Lagos State House Of Assembly in 2011 give their loyalty 100% and consequent majority of present member are not likely to return in 2011.
The Deputy governor, Sarah Sosan may not be re elected in 2011 as she is reported to have been holding meetings with traditional rulers which Tinubu found to be disloyal.
It is also getting interesting as Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde popularly known as K1 de Ultimate would be running for the Federal House of Representatives in 2011. A decision endorsed by Fashola in return for K1’s contribution to Fashola’s campaign for governor in 2007. K1 released an album recorded just to garnered support for Fashola. Already 5 buses have been bought for campaign.
However the opposition plans to stall the plot to get K1 in the Federal house of Reps by Bola Tinubu with questions on his academic background, questionable character and unresolved legal issues.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler Jet Off to Europe

Adam Sandler is going to have to make do without Jennifer Aniston for about a week.
The two are currently shooting the romantic comedy Just Go With It, but Ms. Aniston will be jetting to Europe any day now…
She and Gerard Butler are going back on the road to promote The Bounty Hunter. While the two hit the red carpet premieres in New York and London, they're making another trip overseas.
They've got a premiere in Paris on Sunday followed by Berlin the next night. The final leg of the trip is a stop in Madrid.
Meanwhile, I'm told Aniston and Butler are paying no mind to the many bloggers and critics who have been bashing the movie's $20 million opening weekend in the U.S. as a disappointment.
"We are all happy with the numbers," a studio insider says, pointing out that The Bounty Hunter is Aniston's fourth film in the last five years with a $20 million opening.
"That is great," says another industry executive not affiliated with The Bounty Hunter. "No [other] woman opens a movie that big."

M. Trill | Ladies and Gentlemen (Review)

M. Trill | Ladies and Gentlemen

I'm sure we all agree that Nigeria has more pop fans than other genres then again – ‘Heads' of the Hiphop culture know where to stake their stash when the occasion arises. Personally, I love music on the general but if I must make a choice at gun point, then I'd loudly say "Hiphop". I listened to a Rap Mixtape recently and I was kinda surprised because the artiste in question struck an impression I sincerely did not expect. At the end of the day, I think rappers are more expressive on a mixtape than on some "serious" mainstream album. The name Teriah Yarhere would perhaps strike as a cipher if I have to sustain it on this note but on the real - this is about South-South Rap act, M.trill and the Mixtape, LADIES N GENTLEMEN.

M.Trill's touch on this mixtape is daring and commendable compared to his earlier debut ‘No.1' which was not a bad cut either. ‘Ladies N Gentlemen' magnifies a rapper expressing his right to freedom of speech and spit from the depth of his heart. His first expressions are embedded on "4Get My Name" where he comes off painting a hustler's story with himself in focus. Yeah on this joint, he says "forget my name" but don't be deceived cos even if you dare to stop the song before it ends, the word "M.Trill" would still stick to your memory like ink on paper. "South South Gbolo" is Crunk from the South which passes the ball to the groovy "M for Mayjah" on Nas' beat for "Hero" – this track strikes as an interlude - short but on point.

‘Trill's lines on "Make I Breath (Wait)" may be fast but his eloquent delivery makes it no big deal to skate on. On the second verse of this joint, he addresses the assumption of many who didn't think he could play this hard…. "Never thought that I'd be coming with a different flow/I know you thought my versatility would take a longer while….." Talking about versatility, "Shebe" speaks volumes of that virtue but the delivery of the hook could have been better. It's a fun song for the ladies but a better voice should have done justice to the hook to achieve the intended appeal.

Track 7 - "Trilla" is braggadocios one and I don't mean it in an empty way. He won the best "West African Act" – Channel O Awards '08 and this song is a self beat on the chest…."I'm the Freshest on the scene, whatchyou talking about/fresher than Listerine swivel all in your mouth and I spit it really clean so I clear all your doubts/and I'm doing pretty well for a kid from the South". There's a line on this track that put the rapper in the spot. The PH fans needed to understand this part of the song - "I represent a city that is really wonderful/ I know you've heard stories but it's exaggerated and some of them are true but it ain't not related/I understand your fears but you're now acting jaded/passing up the next best city after Lagos…" The rapper explains to Jarmzone Entertainment "that the line was not in any way to riddle the image of PH, it simply means that - right now, Lagos has more attention entertainment-wise but soon, PH will be the home of attraction cos we shall take over".

On track 8 - "Be My Baby", he gat Shoboi on the hook. A line ladies may never forget in a hurry is "Cos if na drug girl, I'ma crack it and this na Yori Yori cos the love na Bracket". "Paper Plane" is plain like M.I.A's instrumental on which it was voiced on…."I use to use make planes with paper/now I make paper when I make planes/yeah I'm off to your city just to entertain" Well, if you one of those who think rap music don't pay bills, M.Trill speaks for himself on this joint.

The girls get "One Nite Out" to rock with and that's track 10. While he throws lines to get the attention of the shortys, he also hammers too hard on the most popular word in the Naija's music today – "Swagger' but that's not a story for right now.

"On Da Map" confirms his allegiance to his roots "Don't be mad cos it starts with me/M to Da Trill, man you know who I be/not A.B.J or L.A.G cos I'm truly P.H.C" and lyrically he empties the silicon on this joint – admitting to the ills that happens on that side of the country; at the same time portraying himself as a positive force to reckon with. Hilarious it may sound, but "Julie" may not be a true story but a couple of dudes can relate to it and who said it doesn't happen the other way around?

The mixtape title track "Ladies N Gentlemen" is a song with a two-way message…. On the first verse he speaks to the guys who have been there for him since the word ‘Go'. The second verse speaks to the ladies "I love you when you sing ‘Beautiful' and ‘Where u dey'/cos it's because of that love, I'm getting heavy play/hey cos of that I'm getting heavy pay………..and like the Taliban chic' you're the bomb girl" – the female folk have got to love that. Before the last track on this tape, comes "Take 3ILL" – where he connects the present, the past and the future of his music sojourn. On this opus, the rapper gets philosophical, emotional, laid back, mild but not boring.

The ‘Ladies N Gentlemen' mixtape is sealed up with "U.F.O" – where the rapper amplifies his versatility by singing over soft rock and techno. The concept of this song is similar to Snoop Dogg's "Seduction" but without the rap verse. This song is directed to the female folks again – the words of a lover boy in quest to be close to that alien chic. The alto tune was appropriately used and the melody gives one no choice but to sing along.

M.Trill is not doing badly for a kid from the South like he said but he still needs more people to listen up to know what he's gat to offer. In a bid to expand his horizon, he parted ways with his former record label to anchor in the rocks of Tonye Ibiama's Grafton Records. He's presently being managed by Joice Ize-Iyamu's Rogue Entertainment, who used to be Tuface's manager.

After his relocation to Lagos and releasing his debut album No. 1, M.Trill went ahead to win the Best New Act Award at the 2008 edition of Channel O Music Video Awards. His grind is positive and persistence may be all he needs to stay major for shizzy!

M.Trill produced most of the songs, except "M for Mahjah" (lifted from Nas' Hero) and "Paper Plane" (lifted from M.I.A's "Paper Planes"). Co-producers of this mixtape are J-Stunt, Obi Jazz and Cjay.
